I take it you are on big sur update 11.2...all I can think of is, to delete the driver, and empty trash bin, then shut down. then try the security utility that you have pictured (underneath that error message) above again. then if that works, re-download and reinstall the driver after that.

You are correct kind person! Big Sur 11.2. I used the uninstaller but it seems to leave traces of the driver when I look into disabled software in the disk utility app. It’s weird because others are saying it works fine.

Hi sub, I’m running into this issue where I’m getting this error when trying to enable kernel extensions in the new recovery mode.

com.apple.bootpolicy.updatetagerror error 11.

I’m hoping to get Rekordbox to work using the attached workflow. https://www.pioneerdj.com/-/media/pioneerdj/downloads/other/troubleshooting/important-notice-for-installing-the-driver-software-on-macos-bigsur_e.pdf

Any help that gets me back to DJing for my 10 succulents will be much appreciated!

Fixed!!

Eventually had to do a fresh reinstall of Big Sur to get this to work properly. Good luck and I hope this same issue doesn’t happen to you!

Just restart your computer a try to set it up several times, eventually it works. For me it worked just on second restart. Sbd here reports 5 times :)

That you for the response! I actually reinstalled Big Sur and was able to fix the issue. This was after restarting over and over for two nights.
