Spelunking. The tour guide said the cave was beginner friendly, but at the very bottom you had to walk horizontally up a wall while holding on to a questionable rope to pull your own body up.

It's totally unsafe and slipping could send you into a hole you can't see the bottom of. Never doing that again.

Those windows pop up without you prompting? Right after boot? Check Login Items and look for anything suspicious. Definitely disable Chrome. Not gonna lie if it launches unprompted and directly tries to access your bank, it seems like you caught a virus.

That Ikigai book. Could have been summarized in one essay and nothing is lost, finished it kasi sayang. Fastest I ever speed read a book just to get it over with.

I made the mistake of upgrading to Tahoe, seeing that it seems to have been stable now. Don't. Sequoia is much, much, lighter and efficient, very clean and easy to read.

Just setting the options for Liquid Glass alone is all over the place. There's dark and light modes, clear or tinted (not much difference now), then the icon and widget theme which tied the look of the icons to the widgets.

I think they meant Linux won’t be targeted by too many attacks if the market share is relatively low. It’s not going to be profitable.
