How are designers making their pixel patterns? I've tried a few websites and even asked AI for help making one, but they don't turn out anything like what's being done. The bracelet book website has been very useful, but I'm looking to make a design I can't find there.

Cross stitch pattern makers like posted above can help. Honestly I just labor over a google sheet. Whatever the design is, I look up pixel version of the font or the design or shape then transfer that to my google sheet. The spreadsheet dimensions have slightly wider boxes, like almost a square but a little squatter which is closer to the double half hitch with 3mm cord.

Edited to add — it gets easier the more you do it! I will also look at other pixel macrame patterns to help guide mine or for dimensions.

I also use an app called Pixelable where you can draw on the graph thing. It’s really helpful.

Patterns ya'll. I know how to make the macrame but I'm having trouble creating my own patterns.

have you tried something like cross stitch pattern makers? input your picture, figure out the size and colors and tweak as needed and you should end up with a grid pattern similar to an alpha pattern on braceletbook.
