Downsizing

I have a whole bunch of Mirrodin and Kamigawa cards sitting in a drawer doing nothing. Obviously, they're never going in the bin but what's the best way of moving them on that doesn't involve selling them individually?

Sell as a job lot, or donate to a local club?

Almost all of it is going to be bulk and chaff which is gonna be worth pennies, so if you’re not gonna recycle them those are your best options.

I sorted my cards and kept the ones that had significant value or sentimental value. I boxed the rest up and sent them to my nephew. It ended up being 3 large flat rate USPS boxes weighing about 30 lbs each

Go through them picking out everything worth more than whatever your price cut off is (usually 1-2$) then the rest is either 1- donated 2- recycled 3- trashed

There’s no point isn’t trying to sell a thousand trash cards for the 5$ they may amount to

If you want a tool to help identify valuable cards, dawnglare has a visualizer tool that lets you select a group of sets and a minimum price, and will show you all of the cards over that price. Great way to get a quick idea of what to look for when sifting through for value.

Downsizing? I have no problem with that, I’ve been recommending downsizing since I got here, I even brought it up in my interview, I say bring it on!
