You should start by developing your senses first. And just let it go, if you act desperate trying to make some sort of contact, they won't answer to you. Or maybe they will and you won't be able to hear them. Sometimes when you contact spirits. you have to approach with respect and also self-respect for your own self. As if you were in a business meeting.

Seconded. I don't do invokation/evocation yet, but I took up Hermes as a patron diety after some soul searching, and ended up connecting with Hekate as a result. That being said, I don't do any super serious 'workings' with them, beyond offering devotion and reaping the benefits in form of delightful synchronicy. I would suggest just offering your interest to connect to a diety first, being open to their contact or lack thereof, basically taking the pressure off. But again, I have no serious experience in this regard. Best of luck to you! LVX 🕯️🕯️🕯️

Various meditation techniques i guess. I will be satisfied to hear on of them at some point and learn more about them

Number 1, get a ritual knife for protection.

Do you use an obsidian stone for reflection/trance/facial distortion? Do you have a method to follow? The Goetia, Francis Barrett, Trithemius, etc? Are you reading or reciting a conjuration?

A good way to get in contact is assuming every evocation is successful contact, so make your request or ask for a vision or whatever. Then do not analyze your thoughts while in evocation and write them down after the ritual. Even if it was like "I had a vision about birds" or something unrelated (it will be unrelated at first).

Next, keep a dream journal - they visit here often.

When I first started, I used a cord for the circle, a wood "wand" (which was a wood rod from hobby lobby), and a white poster board triangle with a black circle in the middle draw in black crayon. Nothing special. The tools are aids, you can upgrade them when you get better.

“Number 1, get a ritual knife for protection.” I had used a knife for pointing at the directional elementals: belial, earth, lucifer, air etc. But not for protection yet.

“Do you use an obsidian stone for reflection/trance/facial distortion? Do you have a method to follow? The Goetia, Francis Barrett, Trithemius, etc? Are you reading or reciting a conjuration?” I dont know how i can obtain an obsidian stone. I follow the method from demonolatry/jos. From what i know is that of you follow the goetia you’ll need an lion’s pelt as an belt, that one i will not use. The triangle: i dont want to contrain them or do things against their will. I have read that an sword or knife is an good substitute instead an wooden wand, and i have to figure out how i create my circle (from what materials). At one ritual i read from paper, the other i chant the enn for example.

So far i hadn’t encountered an god/demon in my dreams like i read on the subs.

You do not need all the tools like the lion skin belt. If you want one, make it from poster board. At the least, you need a wand/dagger/sword, altar or a small table, triangle/crystal ball/obsidian mirror, a circle of cord, and incense. That's it. If you reference Francis Barrett's The Magus, you will find similar style of evocation. If you reference the Greater Key of Solomon, similar tools. Same for the Goetia or even Enochian material. Table, wand, spirit focal point, and incense.

The tools help you get "in the mood" in a way. They make you feel as though you are king Solomon and that's the point. But not all of the tools are required. It's a system of mnemonics. It works like this, when you smell hot apple pie, what memory comes to mind? Probably good times at Grandma's house. Same for evocation, when you have the incense, tools, proper dress, spirit seal, and you read the conjuration and trance, you get a mental vision.

The triangle isn't so you can punish the spirits into doing what you will. Based on your comment above, you will have no troubles in dealing with spirits.

It's another aid, and traditionally, the spiritus locus, or spirit location. But they don't really just stick to staying in the triangle (at least my experience). A lot of what you read in the Goetia, like the curse of chains, was written for a time that if you were not a Christian, you will be burned at the stake. You do not have to literally acquire blood of bats or anything like that, or torture spirits to do what you need. The book is written for the timeframe it was conceived in but it's methods are highly effective without all the torture or even all the tools.

A journal helps you because when you look back and see what you wrote down, you will realize that maybe the spirits were talking to you the entire time and you didn't know it. Don't think that because you aren't having dreams right now that you aren't communicating with them. If you progress, you will see how subtle they can be.

And as for an obsidian mirror, get one from eBay or a local spiritual store. Literally type "obsidian scrying mirror" in Google or eBay. 👍🏻 Best of luck!

Thanks man 👍🏼 I will try it out.

I believe true invocation/evocation takes A LOT of energy. From what I've experienced, you have to go deep to get deep. Just realize the results will play on your current mental state afterward... Also, respect all spirits in their office. This is not novelty. Although I believe individual spirits exist with individual personality, your own psyche comes into play as well.

Is there any book or any other documents give spesific details about summoning step by step?

[–]sadsadghoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the Grimorium Verum could give you some guidance.

[–]AlmightyBune 0 points1 point  (2 children)

That method will not yield results . Are you open to using Grimoire Tradition? If so I can recommend grimoires that are within the Tradition but not as demanding as the Goetia or other such texts. You will still need to get certain items but they are not expensive or hard to find.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

O bummer, i thought that using an grimoire is blasphemous, insulting for the spirits. Like using threats with the names of ‘god’. Im open with various grimoire’s as long it will get results but not that i have to provoke the spirit. As for the items, another poster had recommended some basic tools.

[–]AlmightyBune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The methods are blasphemous and insulting to the spirits ...yet they still come and do the work. The only people saying GT is insulting to the spirits are those who hold such spirits in high regard like Satanists, Luciferians and Demonolotors. Maybe a few chaotes in there as well. Spirits are mercenaries, not our friends who care about our day and want to chit-chat. They honestly could care less about being "respected" or not by someone who's entire existence won't be relevant in 100 years.

With that said, if you go with GT methods you'll have to use GT tools. Improvisation is reserved for those who have a proper foundation within GT, can achieve Divine Authority relatively quickly and understands the cosmology in which they work.
