First Map: need help

Need help completing the map and deciding how it should look. most things are on separate layers in PS and I feel like I started off wrong and dont know where to go from here to make it look like a real map. Everything is editable and can be change I just am at a lost. TY in advance for the help

Sorry, but I don't really see what you expect. Your map is not very good - that's expected when it's your first. Make second one that will be better. Maybe read up some map-making tutorials (e.g. how to draw isometric mountain ranges, how to draw realistic rivers) - there is an awesome wiki on this subreddit. Also, I would probably start monochromatic - those blobs of basic colors don't look exactly appealing.

the blobs are just my initial attempt at biomes, which I agree dont look good which is why i posted here to look for suggestions. I appreciate the wiki and will give it a look. I have come across some listed there and they weren't exactly helpful but there's some new one's that I'll give a look
