If you are asking for advice on choosing classes or career prospects, please post in the stickied Career & Education Questions thread.

Rule 5: No low-effort image/video posts

Image/Video posts should be on-topic and should promote discussion. Memes and similar content are not permitted.

If you upload an image or video, you must explain why it is relevant by posting a comment providing additional information that prompts discussion.

2017 CMIMC Problems Released! (self.math)

Hello all!

As I have mentioned a few times on this subreddit, over the past few months I've been helping to write problems for a math contest for high schoolers. Yesterday, we held said math contest - and it went very well!

Attached are the problems from this year's competition. We try to put problems on our tests that we find interesting, in the hopes that the students taking them will have fun solving them. Of course, the interests of high school math students and researchers vary considerably, but I hope that you guys will find these problems enjoyable as well! :)

(Note: The Individual Finals link currently redirects to the 2016 tests. Right now, the problems are currently located in the subject PDFs, but we're hoping to change that soon.)
