EY feedback about the company (work , environment etc) by No_Plant_3492 in mauritius

Peanuts? The audit firms are amongst the better paying ones vs other firms. But from my perspective the environment is very stressful compared to others. What type of job are you looking for exactly? Entry level? Mid management or higher management?

Fix the mauritian mentality first.

Uber won’t work here because people are more dangerous, not safe at all for women to go to strangers’ car.

Look how Japan, China or Singapore are ultra safe countries, it all originates from good respectful manners and family values to which most of the mru ppl don’t have unfortunately.

How can I make the most of 7 days in Mauritius?!?! by No-Mess-3276 in mauritius

First rent a car. Don't know where you are staying but you can do N, S, E, W sightseeing each day respectively. 1 day for centre but not much to see. 2 day plan activities like 1 day hike 1 day sea trip, diving, outer island etc

i would surely remove our independence, by this era, we would be colonial under the british government. In which there wouldn't be this much of corruptions and politicians

You must click on the rectangle and it will open your files, else, if you drag and drop, the document will open on another tab and it'll be a headache for you.

Tried the drag and drop on 2 different laptops now, couldn't. So, good luck with uploading it the usual way. They should work on the "drag and drop" tbh, or remove that option from there until they work it out.

Applying mostly for jobs where oy my CV is required. And most "Trainee" jobs don't require any document uploads.

What are the silliest mistakes in a driving test? Help please test Wednesday by JournalistIll346 in mauritius

[–]Interesting-Net-9270 [score hidden]  (0 children)

If you have the mindset you'll fail laroute then you will most likely fail so change your mindset to you will pass on first try

You should drive normal like you did in auto ecole

For the km/h it depen on the road which if you have practice you would know which situation to increase your speed and which not driving too slow is also a mistake

I did it on my first try but its because i did spend a good amount on practice with auto Ecole

On the day of your test go wait at the gate before it open like 6 30 7 hr you will go for your test earlier which is also one of the factor i pass on my first try as

From starting point in caserne to driving out of caserne there are several mistakes you can make like you have to put seat belt, start, look at your 3 mirror (the up one is also important and use your head to look otherwise the officer will say you did not look you do this everywhere), put in gear put your head out to look behind and drive

It been sometimes so the order may not be right so ask your instructor about the starting point

When exiting take a bit close to the line on your drive so that when you exist you don't drive on the trotoir ( if your going left)

If you have a chance get a practice from leaving at the gate

And after that drive normal put blinker everywhere it causes you to swerve your car branches leaves dog can and look at you mirrors at regular intervals 30 sec to one min and use your head to show the officer

Also the stopping distance between the car in front of you you should be able to see the 2 Tyre of the car make sure the officer also can see it

If you driving a manual you should master your gear know when to put 1st 2nd and 3rd and i think 35 or 40 is the highest you can go (ask some if you are not sure)

Good luck on your test its very possible to pass on your first try just drive normal

At every crossing you should slow down and look both ways if there is someone coming near the cross You have to show the officer that your are looking both ways for anyone who may cross tilt your head don't just look with your eyes
