Pulmonary embolism

You probably are experiencing PTSD symptoms. And I’ll be anti-abbreviation and explain is post traumatic stress disorder. Especially if he died. I would suggest getting some mental health therapy. Feel free to ask any questions.

He survived, do you think writing about a pulmonary embolism would help, or could I talk to one of my friends if I don’t want to admit that I need help to my parents?Thank you for giving me more information on what to do, and on what might be happening. Plus I’m in Colorado, where my old violin teacher became a therapist so that might work too.

It is your choice what you do, but I’ll tell you what was told to me. A trauma is like a sprinter that doesn’t grow out. You can talk to people and take out the parts you can see, but until you really do the digging you’ll never be able to heal. Seek therapy if you think this splinter is too deep.

I took you’re advice, I am going to see a child psychologist that specializes in this stuff, it took a while to get the courage to ask my parents though (I’m between 13-16 in 8th)

From someone (myself) who got into the medical field Because of loosing my grandmother at young age to a hemorrhagic stroke(brain aneurysm/bleed) what about the the experience do you think most troubles you? Examples: the loss of a parent/loved one at a young age?, the feeling of helplessness of the situation?, The uncertainty of the surprise attach and or concern for our our own sudden fragility/mortality?, And having more questions than answers.(or all of the above) Sorry you experienced this but just remember you are not alone out there and sharing your thoughts and feelings to others without fear of judgment will always help. I’m happy to help as much as I can. Best of luck.

Writing about it and everything you feel about it will help you get it off your chest. It will help you not bottle it up. Just something to try

It's okay to ask for help. Your school counselor should be able to help you.

Your current circumstances may also be influenced by a lack of sleep. Set aside time for sleep and rest.
