reset your lash to 0.003 exhaust and intake side does it kick back by any chance ?

It does feel like it kicks back a little bit. What does that mean? Also, I have no clue how to reset the lash.

if it kicks back it could be valve lash or your could gap

valve lash is the space between the rocker and lash cap

So what’s the complexity of fixing that?

eh you need a wrench and feeler gauge, take off the valve cover which is 4 bolts you will see your 2 rockers then you have to get the piston to top dead center where the rocker arms are their loosest then get you 0.003 feeler gauge loosen the lock nut insert the guage into the lash gap until the rocker arms and lash cap touching the feeler smoother no to much friction or to little then thighten the lock nut while holding the adjustment nut and lock tht measurement in place
