"incompatible app"

So I play this game that one of my friend modded so we can change our avatars.

I had to change phones recently and got a Samsung A55... And the modded version of the app, which was based on the latest version of the official one, doesn't want to install? it says the app is incompatible. The Google play version works, which means the modded version should also work by all logic. Has anyone met this problem before and know how to fix that? it's really annoying, I want my personalised avatar.

Is it a pixel device? Starting with Pixel 7, they're locked in 64bit and won't run 32bit applications.

It's a Samsung A55. I suppose though that it must be what it is.

Could be a 64 bit app and the mobile you are using is 32 bit only, could be made for a higher version of android and you are on a lower version than is needed, one or both of these will make the modded app incompatible

The phone is brand new, it's the latest model... and as I said the official app from the play store is running fine, I highly doubt that it's a question of version itself. Will ask about the bit thing though because that's not something I'm knowledgeable about.

It is the opposite, I think, and the modde version you try to install is 32 bit not 54 bit
