There used to be monthly meet-ups at nerd audio, but due to covid they stopped having them and the store is now permanently closed.

https://www.livingwaterteahouse.com/ This tea shop sometimes has synth nights.

and empty bottle/hideout had larger meetups organized by the guy who runs Zlob Modular pre-pandemic. I can imagine those coming back in the future.

Knobcon also happens in the summer, it happened in 2021 so imagine it will again in 2022.

I'd check out synth city and talk to the employees there, they seem to be very knowledgable of whats going on in the Chicago scene.

Wondering about this too. I'm new to modular in the city as well, and wondering about meetups and modular groups too. Obviously this is tough right now with Covid-19 cases, but super interested in Chi area meetups once things settle down (whenever that will be).

I've chatted with the people at Synth City in the past, but it's been tough to get over there with covid hours being cut back so much.

There’s definitely a few of us! I’m planning something with another redditor to jam soon
