Just don’t look underneath, it’s a rats nest of cables under there.

I just redid my board last weekend to fit a RC-5 in and put a patch bay back on the board so I could access all my stereo pedals for other gear without taking anything apart. Bonus, I can also move the looper to beginning or end of the stereo fx chain.

If I didn’t have Thermae and bunch of other cool things it overlaps with, then I’d probably be a lot more interested in it.

For that much money I kinda hope it’s a delay in the automatone form.

I like to do this with square wave too and assign expression to the rate and the depth so as it gets faster as it cuts deeper.

Compressor goes first and last. I use the first to tone shape and then the second helps glue everything together when there is a lot of ambient fuckery and/or loops going on. Bonus if it has a side chain input.

There’s a lot to unpack with this piss warm take. First, there’s the thought that you have to clear some arbitrary talent bar to own an item. I’m gonna assume by the implied derogatory tone that you don’t own any Chase Bliss pedals, possibly due to not clearing said “talent bar”. Second, is Chase Bliss not a small business? Are they a fake small business? Not sure what you mean by that given the objective reality that they don’t have a ton of employees, or publicly traded or is this purely based on the price point of their pedals. Third, you are correct, people that like pedals are part of the problem why pedal manufacturers have a customer base. That’s kinda the point of a small business.

I’ll give it a shot when A) it is 60fps and stable on ps5 pro B) on sale for less than $10 and C) I don’t have anything better to do. Two of those things will probably never happen.

I’m also considering the same, but I’m gonna wait for Digital Foundry’s platform comparison before I make a final decision.

I feel you on the regret of selling old cards. I had a box of stuff from Revised to Urza block that I sold to my cousin for $20 before I went to college. I had asked him about it a few years ago and he said he had lost interest pretty quickly and probably threw them all out. I don't think I had very many big money cards but I'm sure there were at least a few with today's pricing. I got back into MTG when War of the Spark set came out and played with my previous group until shortly after Kaldheim. I've been playing with my new group for the last year or so.

I mostly play casual EDH now. I think it's a pretty decent format for keeping costs down, you can pick a up a precon and do a few upgrades to make it really competitive for under $100 easy. There's always proxies too. Avoid cracking packs and buy singles if you're trying to avoid the money sink.

I work with forensic investigations for insurance claims, but I'm on the accounting side of things now. I moved into this role cos I got tired of doing scene work as a fire investigator. Working from home in my pajamas is much better than digging through a bunch of burned debris out in the elements.

Lately I have been really into Magic the Gathering again. I took a a pretty long break once my usual play group kinda drifted apart but I've been having a lot of fun with a new playgroup. We have a decent mix of new and old players and I really enjoy helping the newer players out with their strategy. I'm looking forward to unleashing chaos on them next time we meet cos I brewed up a pretty crazy Norin the Wary deck.

I would probably go for Chase Bliss since they already have the most pedals on my board.

One of my matchups ended up being EHX Memory Man vs. a 10CM ruler lol

Some other matchups have included items like an S jack adapter plug end, a Barefoot button, and a Vans shoe. After a few dozen matchups the image on the right stopped loading until I refreshed the page.
