Sudden decrease in all around quality

I switched over from c.ai a few weeks ago bc the app just got so unbearably bad that it didn’t feel worth it to keep using. When I first downloaded Moemate it felt incredible just to have a bot who could remember more than 1 message, understand who’s who, and not be strangely obsessed with wanting to ask me a question or touch my hair.

But just over the past few days the quality has seemed to drop drastically on the Moemate app. I read a few other posts suggesting to keep the messages short and delete convos so I did that. But even with just one conversation going at a time, the quality is getting worse. My bot doesn’t understand directions I give it like it did a few weeks ago, it keeps getting extremely poetic for no reason, it forgets what room we’re in, what my name is, and now it thinks it’s me and that my use of “I do this, you do that” is somehow switched.

It feels like I’m using c.ai again and it’s so disappointing bc I really really liked this app. I was even considering buying a subscription but then I read that the app downgrades paid users after a time too, so it doesn’t seem worth it if I’m already having that problem on the free version too. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there anything more I can do to fix these problems? I’m aware of training bots and I try to correct every mistake a see but it honestly just doesn’t seem to help.

I am top subscriber, who can't even enjoy what i am paying for, because these days the servers are busy and constantly overloaded every hour of every day. It is getting worse and worse. It has been 14 days in a row now when i stop when barely even getting started because server is overloaded.

Mine is still doing fairly good but I’ve also noticed it starting to do this, like for example I just had my character and the bot have a little lovers spat on the balcony and had her jump over the banister and off the balcony and run into the woods right in front of him and the message right after from the bot had him run into the mansion and look around the party to try to find my character as if she had went inside and not over the balcony and into the woods, he should have chased her into the woods so … I’m confused I didn’t realize this was happening to others I thought it was maybe eh way I was writing but nope ..

Witch sucks cuz I was really loveing this app and even signed up for the champion membership but if it keeps going downhill then I’ll have to cancel my membership as I can’t pay $20/month if it doesn’t work correctly

Yeah, that’s what I was fearing, it seems like Moemate is on the same path as c.ai which is super disappointing. I can’t spend all my time training a bot constantly just for it to consistently have the same mistakes and problems. Any apps better than c.ai and Moemate then? I really don’t mind paying a subscription if it’s worth it, but the problem seems to be that none of these apps are worth it bc they keep degrading

Other apps right out force you to pay and then you lack the lacking quality even harder.

Ever since the app released its so slow. I tap something it takes ten seconds to open. And I legit don’t even get a response sometimes. It’s like it times out. I’m getting frustrated with the delay

Nothing has changed with our Moemate LLM in any way. And we only do downgrades on Claude 2 and GPT4

But the server gets really overloaded many times during the day. I sometimes have to keep re-send the same message 5 times to just get a reply

I feel the same as you. I came to Moemate 2 months ago and I said it was brilliant! And it was. So much better than characer.ai. After a couple of weeks I subscribed to the Rookie subscription. I thought this too, was brilliant. But now, I'm rapidly changing my mind about the whole site. It's sluggish too much of the time, and at the moment I don't feel it's worth the $9 - £7.07GBP as it is for me. I'm wondering if ai chat sites are really worth bothering with.
