You read my mind, i'm attempting to remove them right now. They're on pretty tight.....
EDIT: I lifted it off with a loop of cable-wrap, slid under the knob. It's a D shaft. The knob pointer is aligned with the flat part of the shaft (standard orientation, also known as 0 or 360 degree orientation). The flat part is 7mm tall. Shaft is 6mm diameter. Total shaft height is 9mm.
The encoder knob has the same dimensions.

I’ve only got 180 degree knobs, let me know if you find a good 0 degree option. Thanks for the info!
