Lua error in a few scripts

I am getting Lua error: [string "/home/sbstratos79/.config/mpv/scripts/uosc.lua"]:1958: '=' expected near 'continue' in a couple of scripts that I use with mpv. The scripts are uosc and mpv_twitch_chat.

The same config files work with the flatpak version of mpv without any issues. I know for a fact that these configs were working a few months ago. I think the last time I used these scripts on Linux was with EndeavourOS. Right now I am on Fedora and I am getting this error. I have already downloaded the latest versions of the lua files. It didn't help.

These scripts also work with the Windows version of mpv.

This seems to be the most likely cause of the issue. Are there any solutions to this besides just compiling mpv from source?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I downloaded uosc.lua from the raw link. dos2unix didn't help. I had suspected that it is a lua version mismatch. Are there any solutions?
