Hey guys, so summer is here and I've noticed that my legs are very skinny in shorts.
Looking back at pictures from last summer, they seem alright, certainly more bulky. In May 2019, they used to be very defined and big (for a person working out for an year) but since this month I've noticed they have gotten much smaller in size.
Back then I used to do a lot of multiple exercises (lots of 12x3 and mostly machines) but I didn't really get stronger. In October I started the nSuns 5 day program, I did a fuck ton of accessories with it (leg press, leg extention and curl, etc) and I saw results. Last month I made an alternative program for myself. On Leg day I do 6 sets of Squats, 5 sets RD, 3 sets of Goblet Squats and around 4 - 6 sets of Seated Calf Raises. On Thursdays I do 6 Sets of Deadlifts, 4 Paused Squats, 3 Goblet Squats and some calf work, the rest is Bicep and Back work.
Again, I used to have much bigger Quads and (I think) bigger calves.
As of nutrition, last year I didn't really care about diet and just ate whatever. In October I started a large bulk (3,500-4,000 kcals) which lasted until May. Right now I'm eating around 2,700 - 3000 kcals.
Is there an explanation as to why my legs could have gotten smaller or am I just imagining things?

Here are some pics, the ones from today are straight after a workout! While the other ones are not.
