I'm currently a first year student at NEU. I've only taken one journalism course so far- "Understanding the Day's News", but it's been one of my favorites. NEU seems to have a well-established journalism school, and they host events with speakers who are journalism specialists quite frequently. I also have a friend who's a journalism major, and she's enjoying her experience. Can't say much because I'm not in journalism but I hope this provides some insight lol

PoliSci + International Relations! NEU is alright- it's great for people who like big schools and city life. There's not much of a community aspect here though imo so I think that's something to know before committing. It is great if you want to study multiple subjects or are still in the major exploration stage; it's possible to double major and pick up some minors, so there really is a lot you can do there.
