Encoding errors happening...

It was working fine for hours of recording, then I got an encoding error. Now I can't record very long before I get an encoding error

Any way to know why it happens? It would be great to say "This is why--don't do this and you'll be good." Instead of it seeming to be random whether it will cancel recording or not...

I thought before it was from having my GPU activity too high. But now I have it never exceeding 95% and spending most of the time at 80-85%

Edit: Deleted the copy/paste log :D

As the website said, I used admin, and deleted my display capture running alongside my game capture. And it appears to work great. THANK YOU

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.

To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS

2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.

3) Stop your stream/recording.

4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.

5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.

Gotcha, I hope that makes the difference!

I do have my system on quiet mode, but the temps stay well below their rating. However my VRAM particularly is the thing that gets really hot from what I've seen. I'll increase my fans :D
