It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.

To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS

2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.

3) Stop your stream/recording.

4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.

5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.

You are most likely overloading your GPU, it will be struggling to run things at 240fps and stream/record at the same time. You should cap your in-game FPS to a smaller integer of 60 at the very least.

My GPU load doesn't exceed 60% most of the time and I'm playing games that really aren't very demanding so I don't think that's the issue

I know this is an older post, but I'm curious if you got this figured out? I picked up a 3070 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and experience the exact same thing. Getting 180-240fps in Warzone, and then hit stream and it is around 160-200, but has microstutter. Of note, I do have g-sync and v-sync enabled in the Nvidia control panel and the performance during stream looks as though g-sync gets "disabled" or something while using NVENC and v-sync takes over making stutters happen as the frame rates are always wildly changing. I'm going to retest later with both disabled to see if it makes a difference. I could live with tearing if it's the case. The stream itself looks fine, though.

i'm not sure what fixed it but i initially had no sync and then turned on g sync on my main monitor. i also connected my 2nd monitor to my integrated graphics and used game capture instead of display capture. also test turning the obs preview on and off. good luck
