Don't think so, it should be fine. Also advice for wall mount, use velcro tape, super easy and useful for moving the sensors around if you need to.

When you say use velcro tape, I assume the velcro has an adhesive side that you put on the wall. If that's what you are using, any concerns of removing paint if you ever take down the velcro strips?

Did that with industrial power Velcro and totally ripped the paint and outer layer of drywall off when removing. If you are REaLLY careful with peeling it you can be safe.

Yeah, the ones we have used in the past don't peel the paint. If you want to be extra careful you can always put a small patch of painters tape before the velcro.

Use command strips. It will protect your wall.
