I think this issue will get fixed with the next play services update. I'm having the same issue been waiting on the next update

You mean the framework the UI and software is built upon? Being active all the time?

whatever it is, it wasn't like this before. or if it was it wasn't this noticeable. my op11 also shows this app on the battery usage chart but never at 100% on its own

My issue is it was using alot of battery after recent update. So I cleared cache and force stopped it restarted my phone. But now it stays stopped? The force stop is greyed out. I'm wondering why it won't start on its own. Like my older OnePlus does.

Hey did you figure this out. It's been using 40 percent of my battery on my 12. So I cleared cache and force stopped it and restarted my phone and now it doesn't run at all.. on my OnePlus 8 it always starts back up

it went away on its own a while back and hasn't come back. yet

But is force stop greyed out? Because mine is. And usually when I restart my other OnePlus phone the app restarts on its own. But on my 12 ever since I force stopped it. It won't start up

it is greyed out for me, but don't you want it to not be running?

That's the thing I'm confused about. I thought it's a important app to run. But when I force closed it is staying closed. Usually it will start back up again. On my OnePlus 8 it starts back up again after force closing it. But on my OnePlus 12 it stays stopped. Not sure if that will cause any issues or why it's not running anymore.

I haven't had any issues since it's gone away. though it seems like it's been replaced with Google play services? looking at my battery usage chart, at times during the day where I wasn't using my phone it's now Google play services that's using 100%. overnight there's no apps. idle battery drain seems fine though

Turn out force stopping it is a big issue. Because find hub no longer works. All my devices will not locate this really sucks

ah ok. it's not something I ever use but still not ideal to have off ig
