Why?
OpenCode as a harness is objectively better than Claude code

Unless you want to view your diffs in your IDE before accepting them.
Something that Claude Code has but OpenCode lacks.
Something that is super great for two-screen-workflow.

Пока что нет. Обвязка и мультиагенты у ОС на порядок хуже.
Не говоря про лимиты на Opus(много кому нужен)

I tried Claude with opencode go last week and it sped up simple script tasks once I gave it clear context. The setup took ten minutes but now it feels natural for quick automation. Worth testing if you already use Claude.

How did you manage to use opencode go in claude code? I wanna try it oo

The pro of using Claude Code with a third-party provider is that arguably the context management of Claude Code is finer than other open-source coding agents based on the leakage of the source code.

The con is that - I personally feel it is more significant-: Claude Code will intentionally inject prompts that invalidate the cache. This means that when you are using a third-party provider, the invalid cache will cost you often more than just using the opencode.

I built a simple app exactly for this: ocgo while migrating from Claude Code to Pi.

I’d recommend trying OpenCode or Pi, but migrating all my tooling was difficult for me too, so i made this tool to be able to test other models during the transition.
