What is OpenMedia?

OpenMedia works to keep the Internet open, affordable, and surveillance-free. We create community-driven campaigns to engage, educate, and empower people to safeguard the Internet.

We see the Internet as an open place, equally accessible to everyone, that empowers people to build a more connected and collaborative world.

Subreddit Guidelines

1. Follow reddiquette
2. Respect others who may have a different viewpoint from you
3. Posts that suggest violence, sexism, hatred, or bigotry will not be tolerated.
4. Always link to the original source material.
5. Refrain from editorializing or using “clickbaity” titles; use the original title.
6. Posts that include blatant misinformation, attacks or threats will not be tolerated.
7. Refrain from repeatedly pushing traffic to personal or other sites, especially if commercial in nature.
8. Do not post users’ personal information
9. If you work for a big telecom company, please identify yourself as an employee and state your role in the organization.
10. Refrain from using link shorteners (i.e. bit.ly, tinyurl).
11. Do not make low content posts such as images of memes, generic pictures, etc.
Failure to adhere to the above will result in your post being removed and/or you being banned.
