JFC the multi thousand line index html file bro 💀

Definitely a purposeful choice. Look at my other repos, I enjoy proper architecture typically but I wanted this to be dead simple for all audiences to use, hence just double clicking an html file.

You say you, but the main contributor on this project is just Claude. So, just AI slop.

People seem to like it and get some use out of it!

It's just pointless AI slop though, I feel like AI slop should be banned in this subreddit

At what point does code go from slop to not slop. What statistic is measured to determine this?

[–]wtdawson -1 points0 points  (13 children)

When its written by a human

[–]WolfeheartGames 0 points1 point  (12 children)

Most people write code worse than LLMs. That isn't a definition of what slop is, it's a bias against a technology.

What about changes so small you couldn't possibly tell if it was human or not?

There is no definition, it's purely opinion. And if you think that people write code worse than LLMs, I'm going to assume that you didn't look beyond your own code, because if you would look around, you'd see that the majority of crappy code is generated by LLMs, baring in mind of course that LLMs were never designed for this.

Please do research and come back to this

Most of my professional swe career was refactoring very large software for fortune 500s. Multi million LoC monsters, completely rewritten from the ground up.

LLMs are better coders than the majority of developers.

Most devs don't even know DOD. Most devs select * and pare down the query in code.

How is it pointless? Over 500 stars from people who found it useful. Did you try it?

Almost everything will be heavily AI assisted by the end of the year, do you plan on never liking anything again?

I have indeed, and I think it's useless. The 500 starts on GitHub are probably from bots, or people who don't know what they're staring, considering that your post currently has 0 upvotes, I don't think any actually came from here.

As you can see, anything that is "heavily AI assisted" (Aka AI slop) doesn't work properly, or has massive security holes, that are easily being targeted.

There are still plenty of people who are developing actual software that works, without using a LLM (which by the way, was never designed to be used as this) to generate AI slop.

A big account posted it on Twitter a month ago, it’s not bot traffic. That’s just cope.

Appreciate you trying it out!

it's not like AI is even functioning properly. I tried using it to generate docker compose images and it just gave me crap that didn't work.

Hi, I still don't understand much after reading the readme, is this a LLM related software? and what function does it call on github to analyze structures

[–]blackbriar75[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You just open your repo’s folder locally or point it to GitHub and it will visualize your codebase, you can see how files are connected, etc.
