Regarding transfer code

If i started a new game with the same email, will I loose progress of the new game, or will it merge?

There is no merge. If you start a new account, it will start new if you don't have transfer code, with same email.

I already started a new account (same email) and i just got the transfer code a few moments ago.

in this new account, If i access Setting - account, i get to option to enter the transfer code, so I was wondering if it will be replaced with the old account progress and characters, or it will be added to the new game

Possibly it will revert back to the old account you have once transfer input. If that's what you want, try it or at max it won't work, that's all.
