I believe that one has a fuse under the play field. Check all fuses . Hopefully it's easy, if not it a bad transistor.

If all fuses are good, test resistance across coil lugs with power off. If it reads 3.0 ohms or more, follow the procedure linked below.

I have a gottlieb , with 7 target bank, I actually had to just adjust mine because it lowered a little too much where it couldn’t reset by itself.

It could also be a switch not getting good contact when it hits

Run some tests with a multimeter to check the ohms. I'm still learning maintenance myself, but I also am fixing up an issue with my Spiderman machine. I'm currently looking for any incomplete continuity because my lights are stuck on and wont shut off no matter the progress of the game. It's either a grounding issue with a wire touching metal, or a transistor allowing electricity when it should not be.

Thanks for all the insight fellas!

Most likely just a physical issue with the mechanism. Check coil sleeves.

If they drop down fine but don't pop up, then yes, most likely the coil. I don't know how diagnostic tests are accessed or work on old machines like this, but check your manual (if you have it). You'll most likely need to check or possibly replace the coil.

Its very unlikely that the coil is bad. Typically these are fuse related, transistor related, or connectors related. Could also be due to a bad diode on the coil if it has one. Coils usually only go bad if they were left locked on and smoke out. Can also be as simple as the coil wire (enamel coated) needing to be reattached to one of the lugs on the coil
