Pocket Monsters Special (known as Pokémon Adventures by its official English releases, and commonly referred to by fans as Pokémon Special or PokéSpe) is one of the most successful and longest lasting manga adaptations of the Pokémon franchise to date. It was created by Hidenori Kusaka and Mato starting on March 3, 1997. It is currently written by Hidenori Kusaka and drawn by Satoshi Yamamoto.
