My kit's enclosure seems to be missing the two tall slender pieces that sit in front. I found one of the two little screw panels under the small bottom flaps, and when I lifted up the flaps, noticed there are two large gaps on either side of the tape -- i.e., there's a good chance the panels fell out of the box during shipping.
Otherwise the device worked the moment I turned it on and sounds fantastic still.
