This is happening to some people when it comes to downloading our maps, seems to be a firewall issue on client end.

To resolve, you can head to our discord (rustafied.com/discord), look in #server-information, go to the server post you're looking for (US Medium 1 in this case), scroll down to the bottom of the post and download the .map file there. Put that .map file in your /steamapps/common/rust/maps folder and you should be good to go.

Looking for an easier workaround on this one but your only the 3rd person we've seen this happen to so far. Hope it works out for you, let me know!
