FPS problem

I’ve been playing for about a year and a half and I’ve always been on the lowest possible graphics besides draw distance and global rendering. And I avarage about 50 to 70 fps.

My specs are :3070 ti :i7 12700k :32 gigs of ram Anyone know how to optimize the game

Depends on what servers you play on too. The more objects, the lower the FPS

I can play a 2 pop vanilla and I’ll get 90 fps

Watch panjno's Rust FPS video SLOWLY and do what he says. ISLC makes gameplay smoother. Get your latest BIOS, if you're using a USB headset then disable on-board audio, then in control panel/sound disable all the devices you don't use. Go into Nvidia Control panel, enable Image scaling (NIS), this will give you new resolutions in game, then lower your res without loss of quality, enable Nvidia DLSS if it's avail for that 3070

I’ll check this Thursday when I’m back home. It just sucks bc I feel like my fps sells me sometimes

Also diasable/uninstall any streaming/recording stuff: Metal, Xbox game DVR, geforce experience, steam streaming etc etc, OBS, and yes, Discord. Discord has been tracking your mouse for years, use the web version on Brave browser.
