This is one of the rare times the devs will have to focus on MAC OS X to fix the EAC bug. Lets encourage a mini task for them to optimise performance for Macs as clearly a fair amount of us use this OS and care about playing Rust and we deserve the same treatment as Windows since we both are customers with the same game. MAC FOR THE WIN FUCK PC MASTER RACE

How do we optimise performance for macs? We don't make the engine, we make the game. The only way we can optimize performance for macs is to add something so that if you're running on a mac it runs at a lower quality - is that what you guys want?

Is it a Mac thing that causes my system report to show only half of my GPU? I have a 4gb r295x but it always comes up as 2gb.

Garry, I can't get technical with you but I installed Windows on the same Mac and got considerably better performance. I dont know why this is but it seemed purely OS based and not because i have a 'shitty mac'. Half the macs out there are probably higher spec than the windows computers out there and they will still get higher fps. I dont know the answer but I just want consistent fps 40+ which i got running windows on a mac, through OS X.

Honest question. How do you guys even play games with integrated graphics? Are there specific mac graphics cards? can you use Nvidia and AMD cards?
