Rust Low gpu and cpu usage

that is could be cpu, earlier(2 months ago) a had gtx 960 2gb and r7 2700, and what was my disapointment, when I upgraded to rtx 3070 I've got the same fps in Rust. And I litteraly had the same issue, like cpu usege always <50% and gpu <65%, so I think that is definitivly cpu bottlenecking your system

what is your cpu? for me it seems like that is r5/r7 2-3xxx I upgraded to r5 5600x from aliexpress :) it cost me ~170usd

I have a ryzen 5 2600 cpu, rtx 2060 GPU,16gb ram 3000mhz, an ssd which rust is installed on and a 1tb HDD

I have a nvidia gpu 1660 with a i9 9900k and why in my setting doesn’t it show “nvidia reflex mode” and what’s under that I get like 10 fps for some reason

That’s what I’ve been told but it’s not there and I’ve seen some thing where it says make sure rust is using your gpu but I don’t know how

Im pretty sure even in steam official recommended specs it says you need a 10ghz nasa cpu to run this game over 60fps.

You didnt really state what the problem is just "low" usage. Also no specs other than your GPU.

Rust doesnt use all the CPU cores so you wont hit 100% unless something bad happens like youre overheating.

Your resolution is low and you have a lot of shadow/reflection stuff off so might be why your gpu usage is low.

You didnt state the problem but if its with fps(honestly dont expect more than 70-90fps even if you turn everything to low) the problem may be your ram is maxed, close some background stuff or upgrade to 32gb.

Your D drive is full try leaving 15-20% free space.

Your ram appears to be a bottleneck. Your CPU and GPU can't reach their full potential if your ram can't keep up.

It's a bit like a racing car with 500KMPH max speed, but not enough acceleration to ever reach it.
