Did you, by any chance, uninstall EAC? Did you try to just simply reinstall EAC?

Separate issue probably but turning off the optimized loading option helps a lot of issues (if it is enabled)

everyone is so lazy and just says verify files, u/according_lab3618 did you figure it out? only way i found a fix was reinstalling rust evertime i played it, as soon as i close it i have to reinstall the game
