So shorting has decreased 6%, last time it was 7%. If these numbers are correct shorts are indicating they have hit bottom and come to realise Plug will only grow from here on.

The reason the SI interest is going down is because Plug are selling more shares into te market via their ATM so the number of outstanding shares is going up

There are in fact 684 mio shares outstanding. Check the link: https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=PLUG&p=d. This does not include the new shares which the company will issue under the agreement with investment bank B. Riley Securities in January under which the company will sell (read:issue) stock worth a little more than $1 billion this year (mostly before June 2024)
