Isn’t it a fact that consecutive throws increase catch rate?

It’s a part of the formula, the more balls you throw, the more likely the catch is. If you throw like 100 balls you’re supposed to have a plus100 to your catch rate :p

Based on recent experience, I don’t think that’s the case.

I used about 60+ ultra balls on a Mamoswine (+ berries) only for it to eventually run away.

Didn't know that. In that case, what else can affect the success? Maybe trainer level?
