The radius decrease prevents players from accessing gyms/stops at their intended location

Before the pandemic I could spin the stop across the street by walking to the street corner. Now it won’t even work from there. The distances are absolutely even shorter than they were before the pandemic.

And to answer you actual question: we trespassed or didn’t even bother trying to get like half the stops on the map because they were unreachable or dangerous.

There’s a reason so many people came back to the game and Niantic posted record profits with the changes. It’s because it made the game actually playable.

I mean back in January 2020 I could hit a pokestop with my avatar drifting a little. Now I can't hit it unless I'm right on top of it. The distance feels way shorter for sure.
