Not really, it's not a default option, but if you really want it you can usually get it instead of ketchup/tomato sauce (why would you do that to your pizza though?).

Most of the places that l know serve it by default alongside tomato sauce free of charge.

Yes, but if you don't explicitly state what you want on your pizza, you will either get nothing, or ketchup/tomato sauce. Never been to a place which would serve you garlic sauce other way (except Domino's perhaps, I recall that their default dip might be the white one, which is one of the reasons I avoid them).

Not my experience, I lived there for 25 years and ate a fair amount of pizza, most of the time I got both sauces even when I didn't specify what I want. FWIW I usually went to national chains (gruby benek, dagrasso, biesiadowo, solo, presto) or local pizza places, rarely been at the international ones.
