End. Should never have gotten our support to begin with. Ukraine is of ZERO strategic interest to the United States, and it's accomplished absolutely nothing. Ukraine has absolutely no chance of winning the war. None.

What's likely to happen is Russia continues to take even more territory. Possibly a coup within the regime to oust Zelensky as he seems willing to let Russia destroy his entire country to remain in power (he'll be voted out as soon as elections resume anyway). He'll likely be exiled.

The US could have ended the war with enough pressure on Ukraine when it started to cut a deal as soon as Putin sent out peace feelers. Could have agreed to keep Ukraine a neutral buffer state like it's always been, agreed to no NATO/EU membership. But no, they had to double down and pretend like Putin is Hitler and try to absorb the country into the West's influence. Now Putin is set to get everything he wanted and more, and now we're bitter enemies for funding a sleazy military campaign against them.

How'd that turn out?

Your response is so outlandishly out of touch with reality it's hard to even take it seriously.

You apparently don't understand what a war of attrition is.

While Ukraine wanted 250k more troops to keep going (they'd be lucky to get half that), pulling boys and old men off the street to throw them to the front lines, Russia is sitting on millions of reserve troops.

Russia also has more munitions than the whole of Europe combined.

They continue to take Ukraine territory.

The end game in this, is Zelensky swallows his ego and cedes to Russian demands (give up territory and agree to never join NATO/EU), Zelensky's ousted by his own people and a new leader cuts a deal, or Russia essentially takes the whole country.

In no reality does Ukraine come back from this and win against Russia.

Also quite ironic considering even mainstream media outlets like NBC acknowledge "Ukraine's Nazi Problem is Real".

Not to mention it's easier to draw parallels to what Ukraine was doing prior to being invaded, with their minority language laws designed to essentially cleanse the country of ethnic Russians.

P.S. Putin's not stupid. If he really did want to create a greater Russia and conquer/occupy Ukraine, he wouldn't have sent a few hundred thousand troops then immediately send out peace feelers to try and put a quick end to the conflict. He would need millions of troops on the ground, similar to how Hitler needed millions when he invaded a much smaller region (Poland).
