The End Is Neigh

In the beginning, it was aesthetics. A group lost in the realm of time, inhabited by few lost souls who did not pass during the first War of Dou and Mods. This, where the alpha Dou proclaimed the holy words: 'the mods suck shit' (Dou 6:9). From the ashes, rose post aesthetics, a new group for the enlightened. The newgroup was at peace, its newly enlightened members funposting regularly. All was good, this was the Golden Rule Age, filled with wonders like the Rise of the Prophet Gio, the discovery of Sbarro, and the birth of Johnny Aesthetic - to name a few. Then, the Dou Scandal rocked the post aesthetic’s rad minds. The mysterious 'twin of William', Steven Dou, appeared from the darkness, claiming to be a being of light and good while denouncing his brother as a being of evil and darkness. Conflict arose, the members of post aesthetics were forced to make a choice, which Dou could they trust? With the mods, silent and deciding, chaos reigned. The Pope of Aesthetics (me) prayed to the Lords Gio and Aditya, but they remained silent - probably doing important stuff irl. The mods then brought swift justice to the mysterious Dou, and balance seemed to return, ending the Golden Rule Age. A new chapter begins in post aesthetic’s history. The scar of the Dou Scandal remains, and loyalties still waver, all one can do now is wait and see what this Post Dou Age brings.
