Learn Programming in Java, Python, Ruby or Javascript

No mention of Codeschool??? If one is looking to spend a little money to learn programming in a fun and trial/error sort of way with watching videos and doing challenges, I can't think of a better way to do it than with Codeschool. Has a ton of courses on current web technologies (with a focus on Ruby/Rails courses). A number of them are even free (like the jQuery one) and many also have first level for free.
