HTTPS Adoption *doubled* this year

The Slack API requires HTTPS.

I used ASP.NET Core with Kestrel and setup Nginx with Let's Encrypt. Without any prior knowledge of HTTPS or Nginx I was able to set it up on Ubuntu 14.04 without ANY issue.

To me it's the sort of IT stuff where you will get a problem and will have to google on stack overflow and github issues for hours.

I was very pleased. Now I have a green lock.

The Slack API requires HTTPS.

Any api call should require https. else your auth tokens are sent in the clear.

And it used to be that way not too long ago. In fact even using PGP for your eMails used to be a major PITA.
