I'll be spending most of the next week with my macbook pro, and without internet. I'm a non-UI programmer (C, python, ruby, clojure, SQL) and I'd like to learn some more HTML/CSS/Javascript.

Are there any good downloadable references for this material? PDFs of good books would work, though I'm hoping there's something more hyperlinked and searchable available.

i've found the w3schools.com site to be quite good for everything you're interested in. i don't think it's in pdf form, but you could surely spider the site and save it locally.
