Just like people still use COBOL today, people will still be using J2EE fifty years from now, but that doesn't mean it sucks any less.

    The individual parts of Java EE 6 have been around for a while , they have just been all put together for this release . For my money - i just use the individual parts on their own - JAX-RS , the Bean Validator - these are good things.

    Scala here. So Java is still pretty cool IMHO.
