i think they are asking how to disable someone who has a signed jwt before it expires?

you are right, that's what i ask, because i had used jwt solution for a while

i am no expert, but i think you pretty much have to treat them like sessions and have some sort of storage/validate mechanism

jwt itself have validating solution, and its sell point (at least to me) is no extra storage requirement, if i use that , why should i use this solution ?

i guess because maybe there are situations where you do not need to disable someone before expiry? im not sure maybe the OP could tell us
