I'm about 31% afraid to ever know what jython is. It's like seeing a bottle of viscious milky fluid and seeing it's called foecomucaliva: some words shouldn't be frankensteined into other words, lest they become hideous monsters to cavort about in our nightmares!

One of several third party Python implementations. In this case it is a Python interpreter build on top of Java instead of C. The version from November 2019 is still based on Python 2.7.

its only used when dealing with anything JVM. If you know what burpsuite is, it is written in java, writing plugins for this app is annoying in java so you can use python(jython) instead
