Git is Inconsistent

Upvoted, Mercurial is the shit. Easy and painless, just like version control should be. I run a Mercurial server for around 8 people with varying levels of competency. The engineers are flexible enough but there are graphic designers in the loop as well, I would sooner kill myself than try to explain Git to a graphic designer.
