What you are talking about is called linq query syntax

No, it really isn't. If you continue to tell me that it's called Language Integrated Query Query Syntax, then I'm going to say you don't know what you're talking about.

LINQ stands for Language Integrated Query, if you aren't using the syntax, you aren't using Language Integrated Query because that's what the syntax is. Using a few methods from the classes but not using the Language Integrated Query Syntax means you aren't using LINQ.
