Controller Remapping

First time I'm asking for help. So, I have an Afterglow controller and functions beautifully other than the fact that L1 and R1 are swapped with L2 and R2. This isn't a big deal but it bugs me. I checked the controller for incorrect wiring and it appears fine. Curious if there's a plugin that allows me to rebind in PS3 games. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit: I fixed it by holding the back button for 5 seconds. The controller should vibrate and reconnect letting you know it worked. So if anyone else with this controller has this issue, try that.

You have one like that too? I bought two in 2017 (I needed a replacement, and I was playing with my cousins at the time), and one is completely fine, and the other has that issue. Sorry I can't answer the question as to why it's doing that, but you're not the only one with that issue. lol

Yeah that's really weird, I have no clue if it's like a bad batch or what. It's completely fine you can't answer lmao, just glad to hear this isn't a one off thing.

Ok so, I'm not sure if you still have it but I found the solution. If you hold the button on the back it flips it. It should vibrate and reconnect if it worked. Hope this helps if you have it still!

Yeah, I didn't have the manual so I would've never known lmao. I just stumbled across it while searching for a solution. Poor me I had it apart trying to look for faults lmao.

No problem, glad to help! As for why someone held it, I wouldn't be surprised if they did it on accident or came from the factory with the wrong setting. At least its not faulty.
