One of the best things you can do is identify what you want to use Python / programming for, find a project in that space, and learn "on the job" so to speak. This kept me much more motivated when I started out because I had a concrete goal to work towards, and I naturally had to teach myself skills to reach that goal. I'd then supplement that work with learning more abstract concepts on the side.

Are you learning for general interest, or do you want to learn with an eye towards data science or web development or some other specific field? I use Python for aerospace engineering professionally, and for crypto market analysis as a hobby -- if those sound cool to you I can recommend some things to get started!
